Each week, we round up the most creative and effective marketing campaigns from across the globe to feature as our #WorkOfTheWeek on our social channels.
This time, we’re looking back at what August had to offer and want you to decide which campaign stands out the most. To have your say, leave a comment below or head over to our Twitter page to enter the poll.
August #WorkOfTheWeek Round Up
A month full of innovative campaigns, August offered some truly thrilling and heart-warming content. Here are our favourites:
August’s first #WorkOfTheWeek was awarded to @BrixtonBrewery, which hosted a fundraising campaign titled ‘Take your Gran for a Can’ at the brewery’s taproom, raising money for the charity Age UK Lambeth.
Our second #WorkOfTheWeek went to @Emirates for a breath-taking stunt in which one of the airline’s flight attendants stood on top of the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, in celebration of the United Arab Emirates being moved from the UK’s travel red list to its amber list.
Next up was @Barclays, which celebrated its 20th anniversary of supporting the Premier League with a campaign centred around two siblings, Reece and Lauren James. By following the story of the two siblings, both Chelsea players at almost 20 years old, Barclays showed its true commitment to British football.
Lastly, we celebrated a heart-warming campaign from @Airbnb that saw the holiday home rentals company offer free accommodation to 20,000 Afghan refugees, helping them to resettle across the world during one of the biggest humanitarian crises of our time.
