To reignite momentum and inspire more nominations, Compass came to Pretty Pragmatic. And from Be a Star, the ‘Reel Reactions’ campaign was born.

Our approach

This wasn’t about corporate messaging. It was about the people behind the programme.
We created a campaign video with real employees at its heart, shining a light on the genuine reactions, stories and faces behind Be a Star nominations and winners.
The tone was warm, grounded and full of feeling, told through the voices and reactions of employees themselves. Messaging like “Proud as punch” and “Blushing but brilliant” helped bring the human side of recognition to life, while “Recognising the remarkable” kept the campaign anchored in what Be a Star is all about.
The creative brought together real imagery, programme footage, animated stats and a clear story arc, celebrating how far Be a Star had come, while building excitement for what could happen next.
